Terms of Use

Effective date: July 5, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VPNzo mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Taprise Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Taprise", "we", "us", or "our").

The list of partners you may find at Annex A

All charges will appear on your payment statement under one of the following descriptors: App_vpnzo, vpnzo_app, Service_vpnzo, vpnzo-svitapps.

Taprise Ltd. remains the sole contracting party under these Terms and bears full responsibility for the Service, its delivery, and any refund obligations arising hereunder.

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence — including that of an EU/EEA Member State or the United Kingdom — which may entitle you to bring proceedings in the courts of that country and to rely on the protections of that law regardless of this choice of law.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Where the law of your country of residence sets a higher minimum age for entering into contracts of this kind, that higher age applies. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account

To access the Service, you must create an account using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately at support@vpnzo.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription and Payments

VPNzo is offered on a subscription basis with automatic renewal. Subscription plans, pricing, trial terms, recurring billing conditions, and refund eligibility are governed by our Subscription & Refund Policy, available at vpnzo.app/srp.html, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

By starting a trial or completing a purchase, you agree to the Subscription & Refund Policy in addition to these Terms.

Unless you cancel before the end of the current subscription period (or free trial, if applicable), your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged the then-current price for the renewal period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel through the App Store, Google Play, or your account settings, as applicable, before the renewal date; deleting the app alone does not cancel your subscription.

If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you in advance in accordance with applicable law, and you may cancel before the increased price takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Key subscription terms at a glance:

  • Trial — May be offered before first charge — see Subscription & Refund Policy
  • Auto-renewal — Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
  • Cancellation — Via App Store, Google Play, or account settings, before the renewal date
  • Refunds — As described in the Subscription & Refund Policy
  • Statement descriptor — App_vpnzo, vpnzo_app, Service_vpnzo, vpnzo-svitapps

4. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA and UK Consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase of the Service within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Because the Service is a digital service that we can begin providing immediately, if you ask us to start providing the Service (including any paid trial or subscription) before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you expressly consent to this early performance and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. Where the Service has only been partially performed at the time you withdraw, you may still owe an amount proportionate to what was supplied before withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at support@vpnzo.app with a clear statement of your decision before the 14-day period expires. Refund mechanics and timing are further described in our Subscription & Refund Policy. This section does not limit any other cancellation or refund rights available to you under that Policy or under applicable App Store or Google Play policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

  • Use the Service to engage in illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, hacking, or distribution of unlawful content
  • Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or any content that infringes third-party rights
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that disrupts its operation
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit trial offers or bypass account restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.

6. Export Compliance

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a UK, EU, or US government embargo, and that you are not listed on any government sanctions or restricted parties list. You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of applicable export control laws and regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, trademarks, and materials within the Service are the property of Taprise Ltd. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service, you grant Taprise Ltd. a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Service without compensation or attribution to you, to the extent such rights can be assigned or licensed under applicable law. Where any moral rights in your feedback cannot be assigned, you agree not to enforce them against us to the extent permitted by law.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at vpnzo.app/privacy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Where required by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the UK GDPR, or other applicable data protection law, we maintain appropriate representatives and safeguards for the transfer and processing of personal data outside your country of residence. Details, including contact information for data protection matters and any appointed EU or UK representative, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service
  • Specific connection speeds or server availability in particular locations
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements

All descriptions of features, server locations, and performance represent the general capabilities of the Service and are subject to change. They do not constitute representations or warranties of specific performance for any individual user or session.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability and to resolve confirmed technical issues within 72 hours of a written report to support@vpnzo.app.

11. Modifications to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time to reflect technical developments, security needs, or business reasons. Where a modification materially and adversely affects your access to or use of the Service beyond a minor extent, we will give you reasonable advance notice and, to the extent required by applicable law, you may terminate your subscription free of charge within 30 days of that notice or of the modification taking effect, whichever is later — unless we offer you the option to continue using the Service without the modification at no additional cost.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law

Nothing in this Section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to a Service that conforms to the contract under the EU Digital Content and Digital Services Directive (EU) 2019/770, the equivalent UK implementing legislation, or other applicable law.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Taprise Ltd., CONSILIORA NEXUS CONSULTING LTD, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your violation of these Terms; your misuse of the Service; or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights — except to the extent such claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arise from our gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of these Terms. Nothing in this Section requires a consumer to indemnify us beyond what is permitted under the mandatory consumer protection law of their country of residence.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by applicable law.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive

15. Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute between you and Taprise Ltd. must be brought on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any class action, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. This waiver does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law, and it does not restrict the right of any consumer resident in the EU/EEA or UK to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence or to use any collective consumer redress mechanism available to them under applicable law.

16. Entire Agreement; No Reliance

These Terms, together with the Subscription & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Taprise Ltd. regarding the Service. You confirm that you are not relying on any representation, statement, or promise not expressly contained in these Terms, except in respect of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, internet outages, cyberattacks, government actions, pandemics, or third-party service failures. We will make reasonable efforts to restore the Service as soon as practicable.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before taking effect, via in-app notification, email, or a prominent notice on our website. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision.

If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect in accordance with the Subscription & Refund Policy. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

20. Assignment

We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, or by operation of law. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent.

21. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

22. Notices

We may provide notices to you via the email address associated with your account, in-app notification, or a prominent notice on our website. You may send legal notices to us using the contact details in Section 23.
