Two ways to get the same app. The Mac App Store version needs macOS 12 or newer; the DMG needs macOS 13 or newer. Apple silicon and Intel.

Which one to choose

Both are the same VPNzo with the same servers. Pick the App Store if you want to pay through your Apple ID and let the App Store keep the app up to date. Pick the DMG if you would rather subscribe on our website. Your account works in either: sign in with the same email and your subscription comes with you. Install only one of them at a time.

Installing the DMG

Open the DMG and drag VPNzo into Applications — the VPN component only runs from there. The first time you connect, macOS asks you to allow it: open System Settings and choose Allow. That is the system extension that carries the VPN tunnel; it is asked for once.

Updates

The DMG version checks for a newer build on launch and tells you when one is out — come back to this page to install it. Builds we have withdrawn stop working and say so, rather than carrying on with a defect we already fixed.
